Busy people don't have time to look for mates. At least that's what match making internet sites want you to accept and believe, because it brings business to them. They claim a high percentage of success showing only couples, which ultimately get married. The failures are just simply disregarded. The way these sites work, as I understand it is, that you fill out a form for mate preferences, and another with your qualities and shortcomings. They can even post a picture, preferably theirs, for everyone to see. I say 'preferably', because some people are not happy with their own image, so they post someone else's picture. Now that's a bummer! I say, if you are a busy person don't spend time with stupid internet sites. As long as you are spending time of filling forms and follow up with matches, not talking about the disappointment when you show up on a date, you could just socialize, or go to a bar and meet people! I think that internet and speed dating venues are for the laziest people on the planet. Mo was in this situation many times. He is busy...yeah, and he shows up on time and neatly dressed, ready for action on a blind date,...first impression counts,...only to find out, that who he meets, doesn't even look like the gorgeous, slim blond on the picture. Isn't it interesting, that they end up meeting in a bar, or some other common place, where they could've started looking for mates in the first place? He is not short, bald, or bad looking by any means. I don't understand what the fuss is about. For the eleventh time Mo shows up on a blind date...in a bar, of course. He was wonder struck when the young lady in front of him, looked exactly like the picture on the site. Gorgeous, tall end blond. They exchanged greetings and chose a table to sit at. He pushed the chair under her shapely behind politely. They chatted and smiled, seemed like they definitely had a connection. They agreed their encounter is successful and it is something to hang on to. Melissa confessed, she had her share of wrong dates and that she is tired of looking any longer. Some time past and Mo stood up, excused himself and he left for the washroom. He rearranged his hair, and as he walked back to his table, noticed people looking and smiling at him. He smiled back. My day goes exactly as I dreamed, he thought, even people look differently at me, I am in the game of couples, exactly as the universe intended! He had a bounce in his steps. Melissa watched him smiling too, as he approached, and she looked beautiful. He set down and immersed himself again into the conversation. At some point his eyes met the eyes of a woman sitting at a table adjacent to theirs. She set across the table from a gentlemen and she was smiling, gesturing Jack with her index finger pointing towards her crotch. He didn't know what to make of this. Now everybody wants me? Mo tried not to look at her, but his curiosity grew stronger. What is this? I just met this beautiful blond and I'm already prone to cheat on her? When he made again eye contact with the woman, the gentleman with her was doing the same thing, pointing towards his crotch. Is this some kind of a plot to get him into something? Mo shrugged his shoulder in response. Losing his patience the man pointed forcefully towards Mo's crotch, not caring about the fact that Melissa could see it. Mo looked down, and noticed a corner of his white shirt sticking out of his pant's fly. All hell broke loose! Is this karma, or what? Is this how he is going to ruin his one and only successful blind date? He felt blood rushing to his head for embarrassment, and the bar became too hot. Melissa new it all along and was still smiling, and just as he was about to stand up and retreat in dignity she touched his hand and said with a giggle: - Just...fix it, Mo! I'm not going to tell anyone! Rocky start, but as they say the rest is history. Their case was one which ended in marriage. Way to go...internet!
