My ET Story Ch.3

By now I understood the power of the tetrahedron, and I never left it out of my site. In my deep meditation sessions I asked questions about it's material composition, and origin. The answer I got is that it is an alloy of metals originated from multiple planets. The core is from Une's Home planet 'Cun', which orbits a sun called 'Zeh' in the 'Tat' galaxy.
I definitely wanted to try the levitation power of the ene. I had to get my hands on an ele, so I summoned Une to help me out.
   - Greetings Une. I learned a lot since we saw each other, but now I need your help.
   - Greetings Jessy. -came the answer - I'm far from your world, I can't be there in person. What...you need help with?
   - Well, its time to reorganize my barn, and I need one of those ele...things to lift stuff!
   - Your world possesses...elements for that purpose. Go to the nearest mountain and look for...crystals.
   - That's it...crystals? So...how do I know which one to get.
   - Take ene with you and you...know.
   - But Une the nearest mountain is thirty five miles from here.
   - You want work...you go!
What was I to do? Now I have to take a day...or two, to drive and get what I need. Besides, climbing rocks is not my specialty. Anyway, I got some hooks, rope, a pick-axe, my shotgun and next morning I left for the hills. On my way I picked up some dry meat and water, just in case! When there, I took the ene out of my bag, and started to walk up the slope. I had to fight my way through some dense bushes to the foot of the rockface the ene pointed at...boy I missed my machete. It was a nice, smooth granite wall, on the side of Perish mountain. The ene started to tingle in my hand, and forced it to a point on the rockface, about forty five feet high. Fortunately the branch of a tall tree touched the area where the rock intensely glittered. This means that I could just...climb the tree! Although the branch didn't look sturdy enough, I proceeded anyway.
I reached the limb, and stretched thin along it, like a snake. Well, that proved to be a mistake. As soon as I finished the master move, the branch bent and crackled, split close to the trunk, and slowly started to part from the tree. I don't know how long I was dangling there? If I die here and now, nobody will ever know! Would anybody look for me? And even if they did, it could take years to find me! These thoughts popped in my head in a split second. I so whished somebody could see and help me in this crucial moment. I shouted - Help! -aware of the fact that nobody can hear my cry, out here in the wilderness.
That is when something strange happened. The bag on my shoulder with the tetrahedron, emanated a force field, and expanded until it enveloped me completely. I felt weightless and my hands didn't have to grip the branch so tight. Shel I let go, I wondered?
I'm going to release it slowly, finger by finger, to see what happens?
I did and then I stood there motionless for quite sometime. A hysteric, nervous laughter left me as a result, to release the tension.
That was a close call, and now what? I looked around helpless, and then I remembered Une's words. 'Just think and it will happen.' I looked back at the rockface which still glittered and said aloud - Go closer to the wall. And behold, it happened in an instant, so much so that my nose almost touched the surface. Hey, needless to say I need a little practice! It isn't enough just to think, but you have to think in a disciplined manner, down to the smallest detail if you want satisfactory results.
I didn't have to use the pick-axe at all, I cut the granite with the help of the ene, hovering forty five feet up in the air. The rock became soft like playdough and I shaped it in the form of a bracelet, shiny and beautiful. I used my newfound superpower and levitated myself back to my truck. What a day?
It was sundown when I got back to the farm. Everything was just the way I left, no change. The only change that happened, happened to me. I got a beer, set down on the porch and looked out in a distance. It was a quiet and pleasant sunset over the cornfields. A cool breeze caressed my face coming from the creek. It really felt good to be home and I wondered, how am I going to deal with this turn in my life. I looked at my bracelet again. Do I come out and tell everyone, or I keep it a secret? Yes, I have to keep it secret, at least for now...
I got the barn to fix tomorrow!
