Mind Control

   Times immemorial only nature, or circumstances determined humanity's way of thinking. Purposeful interference was non-existent. Sole survival and way of life was at the focus on the brain of the developing ancient human. This was the case in the vast majority of our pre-history, which now is believed to be many millions of years!
   According to nowadays science, for as yet unknown reason, a dramatic change occurred in the human evolution, about two hundred thousand years ago. At that time a genetic marker was, looks like purposefully altered in our DNA, our brain capacity increased considerably, and miraculously a modern human species appeared on our planet that looked just like us today.
   Is it coincidence that about the same time a 'god' concept and appearance of an early form of religion started, according to some scriptures? It was then, and still is a form of control!  
   In the beginning mind control, or mildly put, thought manipulation was an effective mode to 'persuade' crowds, or individuals to think and behave in a certain manner. Namely, stay calm, be submissive, never revolt!
   The undeniable results of this type of 'persuasion' was recognized and used early on by higher classes of society in an institutionalized form. Today we call them 'church', 'monarchy', 'government', 'media', 'corporations' a.s.o. In short 'Establishment'!
   The interconnectedness of these is irrefutable. Non of the parts is willing to do away with the other, because it assures it's own existence.
   In our technological era, one of the parts of Establishment plays an ever increasing role, this is the Media, especially 'social media'!
It's side effects is a form of 'socialism' that could give rise to tyrants! 
   The question is, do we need to set limits, or to mitigate the side effects of this,-I would call a 'disease', -and if we do what, and to what extent? 
   I certainly don't mean to limit the sale of 'smart phones', but I would want instead 'guide' the quality or relevance of the information shared! In what shape of form...I don't know? The following ideas would be a good start! 
   Whatever shared promote hate, or differences between races, nationalities, genders, religion, political affiliation, social status, or what have you, are counterproductive, delay evolution. They waist precious energy resources which otherwise could be utilized for advancement of the species. If maintaining differences matter to you,  you are part of many difficulties we face, and our future is bleak on planet Earth!
   It is important to note, and this is my observation, that change never did, and never will come from any part of the Establishment. 
   I understand for many a higher call is not appealing, saying -what can I do, I'm just one person? How fast we forget that society starts with individuals and that is where the secret of 'saving the world' starts!
   What does this I just laid out have to do with mind control? For starters I will remind you about a famous strategy which worked successfully many times in our history. 
   'Divide and concur!'
   There are as many ideologies and points of view as are electronic devices on the planet. Speech liberalism is rampant and lacking focus. Do we need any more proof of division? Did the strategy work? Yes, it did! We are scattered, with opposing goals, and unity is non-existent! 
   Fragmentation of purpose, or lack of clear guidelines are the main causes of the appearance of peculiar ideologies and figureheads who, by means of social media, can rise to the occasion and redirect focus. Narcissists and psychopaths gain control of narratives, which by definition are wrong, counter-productive. Followers form movements which derail the path to truth, or what is right, and members can completely loose sight of reality. It could make or brake whole societies. Can this be the future of humanity?
   False ideologies can be detrimental for following generations. They all are a form of mind control. Reversing them is difficult, painful and could take decades. 
   Suffice to say, we came full circle! Evolution has not happen yet! Let's face it! Ninety nine percent of the Earth's population is still in survival mode, guided by nature and circumstances on a slightly higher level of technological advancement. As it stand now, two hundred thousand years were waisted! That's all! What we achieved so far is just that we are closer to extinction.
   People, let's set a target...like 'evolution' of our species. Ultimately, isn't that our goal? Do not chase ideologies, psychopaths, sociopaths, or outdated scientific falsehoods, they are a form of mind control and all failed us so far! Set aside differences and focus on unity, tolerance, compassion, cooperation, truth, reality, nature, and things that work to humanity's advantage.
   I never thought I will ever promote basic 'prehistoric evolutionary concepts' for the advancement of our species, yet here I am. Would it be a step backwards, -I don't think so? We could take a leap forward in our journey, after a step we should not have taken in the first place.
