I woke up early. Today's list of chores went through my head, still laying on my back. Some strange image appeared in my brain, sharp and vivid. I turned to look out the window just to convince myself I'm not dreaming. The 'ene' and the crystal bracelet ('ele') was on the table beside my bed where I left them late last night. -All is good. I'm awake!
The day went on just as I planned. The bales of hay floated to their places on top of one another, and the pile of firewood rearranged itself beside the barn door, just as I intended. I even managed to fix the broken wheel of my old buggy. I did this, and finished all before noon! After lunch I took a nap on the porch in the rocking chair.
The image in my head returned and became more persistent. In this, I was ushered into a place by a white 'cloud' with the inscription 'Follow'. I did, and entered a dark 'room' that had no walls and floor, though not visible, I definitely was standing on a firm surface. A deep calmness took over my senses after the initial fright, and dared to look around. I saw no entities, but I felt several presences. From many directions beams of light of brilliant colors, slowly approached and landed on all parts of my body. I started to turn and tumble in all directions, suspended in mid-air, and then placed down again, where ever down was. Then the 'ene' started to glow, oozed out of my pocket, and floated away in the darkness. A short while later a needle shaped object appeared, headed toward my face, and without hesitation, rammed it's way through my right earlobe. By the time I reached to feel it, the needle became a perfect ring with no seam. I felt no pain!?
When I came too I was still sitting in my chair. -'What a strange dream!?' -I thought, and reached to see if the 'ene' is still in my pocket. I panicked and frantically looked around, then I remembered the dream and touched my right earlobe.
Wow! It wasn't a dream at all! This can only happen if time and space got manipulated by...something, and my senses got confused. I must've traveled into another, or possibly a parallel universe. I read in scientific scriptures that this could exist, but I always remained skeptical about it.
An urge came on to me to contact a good old high-school friend, Terry! Why him, I don't know? We haven't even communicate for years, being for the distance we live from one another. I know he went on and finished his higher studies in physics, geology, cosmology and alike.
One day I was just about to call, when a car pulled into my dusty driveway, turned and stopped in front of my house. Who could that possibly be out here in no-man's land. I stepped closer to the window, and I saw Terry getting out of the car. He pulled up his pants, looked around and headed toward my front door.
-Hey body! What are you doing here? - I swung the door open and greeted him with open arms!
-Well hello Jessy! Long time no see! How are you doing my old friend? -and he stepped into the house.
-I'm well Terry, thanks. You look good! So tell me what brings you here? Are you buying a farm nearby or something...?
-No, no, no! I got drift of strange happenings in this area! Besides you been on my mind for some time now!
-O really? How so?
-There was this voice in my head that said to come to see you, and amazingly sounded exactly like your voice! I even had to look around in the room to see if you are standing right there in person!
-Wow! Well...just wait until I tell you what happened to me? - O by the way...are you hungry Terry?
-I ate on my way here, thanks!
-Alright then, let's grab a couple of beers and we'll talk on the porch.
We talked all night. I told him about my encounter with the craft, the creature, the device and my strange dream, all the happenings to this day. I told him he was the only one, with whom I could share this, because everyone else loughs at me, and wouldn't take me seriously.
-Let me see that thing... -said Terry looking at my earring -It is stunning. I never saw a multiple coloured metal like this. What a beautiful bracelet too! Could you demonstrate what they can do?
-Sure! Hold onto your chare!
I didn't move a finger, just thought of him lift, sitting in his chair and slowly leaving the porch, then up in the air, made a circle around my house, and back down again onto the porch floor. Terry laughed continuously while this happened. A nervous laugh, one like anybody would have while on a rollercoaster ride.
-Jessy...this is absolutely monumental!-he said after he got his composure back. -Did you tell, or show this to anybody else?
-Are you kidding me? I've been keeping this a secret for quite some time. I fear the authorities would confiscate it and declare me a witch or something.
-So who am I, that you trusted me with this?
-For one, I know you can keep a secret! You are open minded, and second, you are an expert in your field and understand the implications of this discovery.
-So you want me to tell everyone? Is that it?
-What I'd like from you is help to get the consciousness of humanity to a higher level. We veered off course of evolution with fatal consequences.
-I understand all that, but what is my role in this?
-I will provide information, knowledge, how and when to do things, and you're to teach and promote them.
-So how do we communicate?
-Here is a piece of special crystal, keep it on your desk and think of me when needed. Just keep a close eye on it!
-It's a piece of granite? Of course, it is frequency data storage and amplifier! Nice piece! -he said turning it around.
-Terry are you in?
-I'm in! This is going to be a long, exciting and difficult journey, my friend.
He left next day. I was glad to see him. A while back we had lots of fond memories together. I followed his car with my eyes as far as I could see, then I fell back into my thoughts on the task ahead.
